Great action and romance thrown in....
This was even more a page turner then the other in the series. So many ups and downs that you thought you had something figured out to end up being totally wrong. My all time favorite in this book has to be the fight that happen with them going after Cromfield. Everyone joined together to get the person who wanted to end Rae's happiness. Her half-brother turned out to be a very caring and loving. The end of book 12 will leave you in a total shock as you were not expecting it to go this way. My advice to anyone reading this review is to get going on the series ASAP you'll become a fan of W.J. May right a way. I can't wait to read the other book that go along with the series.

I love this series. It's all heart with the need to survive and love. Of things that aren't meant to be and thing that happen anyway. A story of loneliness, of love, of being lost and the hope of being found. A story of unimaginable loss, of friends that help you find yourself. Mostly a book of strength and courage and the need to do the right thing. Through it all, Rae finds she is not as alone as she thought and to always expect the unexpected. If you like paranormal adventures and romance this is the series for you.

Awesome series love it, love this author. She is an great writer I love reading her books. Rae found her dad but he was supposed to be dead can not wait to see what else happens
Total Let Down!
So upset right now. I thought since this is supposed to be the big showdown everything would be awesome but it wasn't. The story was okay but I wanted so much more...everything was over WAY to fast. I was like REALLY? I bought this book for this. Dang...I should've just borrowed it from a friend. The book itself was great but if you are expecting this huge epic battle then don't waste your time. It was missing so much at the end and everything felt rushed. I liked it but not as much as the other books. This one just fizzled out for me.

The 12th book in The Chronicles of Kerrigan Series. This is what Rae and the gang have been training for all their lives......a showdown with Chromfield. A suspenseful read that will have you on the edge of your seat from start to finish! I loved it!
If you loved Harry Potter or the Twilight series, this is for you.
W. J. May fleshed out her characters so well, that after reading the first 6 books for free (thanks, Amazon), I bought the next 6 in the series and the sequels too. I loved them all and am almost sorry to have finished them. Fortunately I can look forward to reading the prequel books too.

As they prepare for the final battle with Cromfield, more problems arise along with even more revelations. Rae struggles to maintain a fine balance of strength and faith without giving into internal fears of ultimate failure. The final battle will leave you on your toes, feeling breathless! Through gut wrenching losses and new beginnings, this series is far from over... Thankfully ;-) I enjoyed every word. It's a must-read series gaining a well deserved 5 stars!
A Series that leaves you wanting more !!!
W.J. May has such a unique talent, I was hooked from the first book to the last ! Now we have a prequel and another short series coming up to finally get the answers?!? Who knows for sure ? Good Action
This is one of my favorite in the series. Had good action, many secrets, a dangerous villain, good characters and romance.
Fast read
This was supposed to be the last book of the series I thought, but she left it as though there will be more. As with every other book in this series, I finished it right away. They are never long enough. Lots of twists, and a few predictable plots. I definitely recommend.
