Bí ngòi rửa sạch, giữa nguyên vỏ, cắt thành miếng dài khoảng 8cm rồi đem luộc khoảng 2 - 3 phút cho mềm thì tắt bếp, vớt ra để ráo nước. Hành lá cắt nhỏ phần ngọn hành màu xanh. Làm nóng chảo với dầu ăn, cho tỏi băm vào phi thơm rồi rưới cả tỏi và dầu lên dĩa salad bí ngòi. Trang trí thêm hành lá bên trên.
