Amazing book but it literally falls to pieces in your hands.
Okay. This is a great art book. Stuff worthy of hanging in frames around your home. HOWEVER the three star review is because of these factors. 1. The binding SUCKS. Right out of the envelop packaging pages were coming loose. Granted not the worse problem in the world considering I’ll probably frame a few of these pages. That being said that’s why I bought it on amazon. The one at books a million had the same problem. Pages were falling out of the spine binding. So I guess it’s a production/factory problem. We even had a couple pages glued together that tore when separated at the corner. 2. A security label/sticker slapped on a page of the book itself. Now that is just sloppy and something I can’t look past. Can’t remove it because it’ll tear the page 😡😡😡 All in all. If you want an incredible art book featuring our favorite characters...look no further. Just know the quality of the physical book itself isn’t that great.
An amazing display of Naruto artwork
This book is a very good buy for any fan of Naruto. Kishimoto's artwork is amazing, and the images are printed in great quality. I bought this because I thought that it could possibly inspire me in my newfound hobby of sketching, and it seems to be working pretty well. It was at a decent price too (about 12-13 dollars). But I would advise not putting it in hot temperatures or opening the pages too wide (see below). If this product were to be improved, I would say add better quality to the binding. I have seen other people in the reviews saying their binding was terrible and pages were falling out. I do hear some cracking when I open the book. Also, I wish all of images didn't stretch all the way to the edge of the binding, since it's a bit hard to see them properly. Some images didn't actually stretch all the way to the edge of the binding, but most of them did.
Quality could improve.
Many pages of the book are falling apart. It is very fragile, so you have to be extremely careful while flipping through the pages. However, aside from that, the images are super cool and so are the stickers. The pages are not wrinkled, and the print quality is very good. I am giving this book to my little brother who is in the hospital to cheer him up :)
High Quality, Great Art, Great Visuals
Uzumaki Naruto: Ilustrations is a needed book for any fan of Naruto the manga. Not only do you get the colored arts for more of the 2nd half of the series, but also the color arts for things like the poster and arts for the movies. Additionally you are getting the images on nice high density paper which is quite sturdy but also quite perfect for the arts (much better quality than the paper they appeared on in the magazine even). Better yet it is also in large artbook sized paper even so in much better size than the manga volumes. I loved some of the comments from Kishimoto provided in the back of the book. Definitely get this before it goes out of stock! Its a worthy 20$ spent. Additionally you do get a double sided poster and stickers!
Might Come in Faulty
The art is great. Exactly what you would expect from Kishimoto and it’s cool to see how his art evolved from early Naruto. My issue is with the physical book itself. It’s brand new so there’s no doubt about that but pages are falling off the binding plus the person who shipped the book out a sticker on the art itself that left a big ugly square spot. I’m extremely disappointed with the product’s production.
beautiful work but it's falling apart a bit
I love Kishimoto's works and I love the series, but several of the pages have come loose and fallen out of the book. One set of pages fell out the first time I opened it, and I just shrugged it off, but now other pages or beginning to fall out.
Novelty not Exclusivity
nice book. it has a lot of naruto illustrations that i’ve already seen online so that was slightly a bummer. it’s still cool to have though.
Love this illustration book.
Love this illustration book. The binding didn't fall apart for me, which was a concern after reading other reviews. Still the book is paperback and large and therefore fragile; it should be handled delicately.
A must have.
BEAUTIFUL book. I just wish there was more Akatsuki in it. They are in it but I would have preferred all the members. I'll probably never use the stickers though. Afraid to.
Naruto fans NEED IT
On display in my apartment. If you're a hardcore fan, don't hesitate, buy it now, you need it. Sasusaku in here is beautiful...
